On the afternoon of January 17 (local time), Shandong Radio and Television Station and Shandong International Communication Center collaboratively held the unveiling ceremony of the Oriental Screening Room in the South Australian Film Corporation, Adelaide, Australia.
中國(guó)駐阿德萊德總領(lǐng)事李東、山東廣播電視臺(tái)副臺(tái)長(zhǎng)徐龍河共同為澳大利亞“東方放映室”揭牌。澳大利亞伯恩賽市市長(zhǎng)Anne Monceaux、南澳州電影局代理局長(zhǎng)Leanne Sanders、山東省政府駐大洋洲經(jīng)貿(mào)代表處首席代表王慎君、南澳州伯恩賽市議員邢云飛、南澳州阿德萊德市議員李晶參加揭牌儀式。

澳大利亞“東方放映室”是山東國(guó)際傳播中心成立后，在海外設(shè)立的第三家人文交流基地。作為世界了解中國(guó)的窗口，“東方放映室”將通過(guò)定期展播優(yōu)質(zhì)紀(jì)錄片、短視頻等，讓國(guó)際友人直觀領(lǐng)略中華文化、齊魯文化的獨(dú)特魅力，感受活力滿滿、熱氣騰騰的中國(guó)。
The Oriental Screening Room in Australia is the third cultural exchange base set up overseas, following the establishment of Shandong International Communication Center. As a window for the world to know about China, it will screen high-quality documentaries and short videos on a regular basis, so that international friends could directly appreciate the unique charm of Chinese and Qilu culture, feeling the vibrant energy of China.

Li Dong, the Chinese Consul-General in Adelaide, stated that Shandong Province and South Australia have forged friendship for nearly 40 years, with a strong momentum in cooperation and exchanges on various fields. The Oriental Screening Room in Adelaide by Shandong Radio and Television Station and Shandong International Communication Center will create a new platform for cultural exchanges between China and Australia. It will show the rich cultural heritage and modern social landscape of Shandong and China to the people of Adelaide and international friends, further deepening the cultural understanding and friendship between the peoples of China and Australia, as well as Shandong and South Australia. It is hoped that the Oriental Screening Room will serve as an opportunity to further promote film and television exchanges and media cooperation between Shandong and South Australia, making new contributions to the cultural and people-to-people exchanges between China and Australia.
山東廣播電視臺(tái)副臺(tái)長(zhǎng)徐龍河表示，中國(guó)和澳大利亞雖然距離遙遠(yuǎn)，但友誼源遠(yuǎn)流長(zhǎng)。山東省與南澳州是友好省州關(guān)系，雙方在經(jīng)貿(mào)、文化、影視等領(lǐng)域合作密切。作為世界了解中國(guó)的窗口，山東廣播電視臺(tái)、山東國(guó)際傳播中心將以澳大利亞“東方放映室”設(shè)立為契機(jī)，加強(qiáng)與澳大利亞新聞媒體、影視機(jī)構(gòu)在視聽(tīng)內(nèi)容制作、人員交流、國(guó)際傳播等方面的合作，深化文化交流，共同推動(dòng)兩國(guó)媒體事業(yè)繁榮發(fā)展。
Xu Longhe, Deputy Director of Shandong Radio and Television Station, said that although China and Australia are far away, they boost long-held friendship. Shandong Province and South Australia are intimate partner, with close cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, culture, film and television. Taking the establishment of the Oriental Screening Room, a window for the world to understand China, as an opportunity, Shandong Radio and Television Station and Shandong International Communication Center will enhance the cooperation with Australian news media and film and television institutions on audio-visual production, personnel exchanges, international communication and others, and strengthen cultural exchanges, to jointly promote the prosperity of the media industry of the two sides.
