近日，越南峴港市外辦向我辦發來慰問信，就新冠肺炎疫情向我省表示誠摯慰問，表示中國政府和人民排除萬難，萬眾一心，必將在最短時間內戰勝此次新冠肺炎疫情。

我省與越南峴港市于1996年建立友好省市關系。多年來，雙方高層互訪頻繁，在貿易、投資、人文等眾多領域開展了務實合作。

收到貴辦介紹山東省新冠肺炎疫情防控情況的信函，我們深表感謝，這再次體現了多年來峴港市與山東省建立起了值得信賴的友好關系。

我們深知此次疫情嚴重威脅中國人民的身體健康和生命安全，并在中國各地造成了大量社會經濟損失。世界衛生組織也宣布此次疫情為國際突發公共衛生事件。

峴港市外辦也正在市政府的領導下，全力應對當地疫情。我們謹對山東省政府和人民排除萬難，抗擊疫情做出的努力表示誠摯慰問。我們期盼，有當代醫學的不斷突破，有中國政府和人民的萬眾一心，中國將在最短時間內戰勝此次新冠肺炎疫情。

We are aware that the epidemic has caused serious socio-economic damage, especially to human life in many localities of China. The World Health Organization has also declared a global medical emergency for this epidemic.

Similarly, the Da Nang Department of Foreign Affairs is focusing all efforts to coordinate with the city government to cope with and control the epidemic situation.
