Between 00:00 and 12:00, Feb 9, 2020, 9 new cases of novel coronavirus pneumonia were confirmed in Shandong. A total of 444 confirmed cases have been reported in the province (including 26 severe cases, 7 critically severe cases, 53 cases discharged from hospital, and 1 fatality). 8 new suspected cases were reported and there are 85 suspected cases in total. To date, of the traced 12,469 close contacts, 8,104 have been released from medical observation, 222 are suspected or confirmed cases, and 4,143 are still under observation.
